Cancers of the adrenal gland, urethra, penis and scrotum are less commonly encountered, but often treated surgically and occasionally with radiation or chemotherapy. Again, treatment by physicians with advanced training and expertise can ensure that the highest quality of care is received.
Our urologic cancer specialists offer you a wide range of services. At the Spectrum Health Cancer Center, you have access to our prostate and genitourinary multispecialty team that meet with you in a single appointment to discuss treatment options, answer your questions and coordinate future treatment. You will also have access to the latest clinical trials, cancer rehabilitation, dietary experts and other supportive care services.
We are routinely evaluating our patients to determine if they are eligible to participate in a clinical trial through our office at the Spectrum Health Cancer Center and/or the Cancer Research Consortium of West Michigan. We are also actively involved in outcomes and transnational research in urologic cancer and collaborate with scientists and clinicians to determine the best possible outcomes for our patients.
