Spectrum Health Cancer Center is the region's leader in diagnosing and treating lymphoma. We provide you with the experience, technology and personalized treatment options to help you achieve the best possible outcome.
There are two categories of lymphoma: Hodgkin's or Non-Hodgkin's. Hodgkin's lymphoma starts in the lymph nodes in the neck and the chest, and accounts for 95 percent of cases. If affected lymph nodes are abdominal, it is non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
The Spectrum Health blood cancer unit is the region's leader in treating both Hodgkin’s and Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. We have more treatment options and more hope for survival than ever before. We're ready to prepare a treatment plan that works for you, to get rid of the lymphoma itself, and reduce your side effects from treatment as much as possible.
We also offer access to important clinical trials for both types of lymphoma, including exciting new options in biologic therapy in combination with more traditional chemotherapy and radiation.
We'll help you get well again, and restore your quality of life.
Also called "watchful waiting," you can forego the side effects of treatment with careful monitoring of the stage of this cancer.

This well-known cancer treatment uses medicines taken intravenously or by mouth to kill cancer cells throughout the body. Chemotherapy may be given before surgery to shrink tumors, or after to fight cancer cells that have potentially spread.
