The Greenville Hospital Patient and Family Partner Program formed in 2010 to support patient-focused care in Montcalm County.
Focus
The PFPP focuses on discussing and evaluating programs and processes that affect its rural community.
Accomplishments
The program has:
- Shared thoughts on improving care and communication
- Provided patient and family perspective on facility renovations and improvements
- Observed outpatient services to provide feedback on the look, work and feel of the services received and identified ways employees can enhance teamwork
- Helped make the patient handbook easier to read and understand
