Scholarships
Corewell Health Zeeland Hospital is accepting applications for their annual Henry Veenstra Medical Leadership Education scholarship award. One $1,500 scholarship will be awarded to those meeting the following criteria:
- Corewell Health Zeeland Hospital active or courtesy medical staff member pursuing executive leadership degree or skills in health care profession
- Currently enrolled in a medical school program (MD or DO)
- College student accepted into an accredited medical school
- Individual must demonstrate he/she has a desire to practice in West Michigan
To be considered please follow the application process with attaching the following additional documents:
- Completed application
- Acceptance letter from accredited medical school
- Transcript
- Essay, 500 words or less
The completed application, career aspiration page, and copy of transcript should be emailed together and submitted to kris.palosaari@corewellhealth.org by March 30.
The scholarship award will be sent directly to the college/university/educational institution in the award winner’s name applied as a one-time payment to their fall tuition.
